Dr. Dana Gionta is a psychologist and personal coach with a specialization in the area of health and wellness. Over the past 12 years, she has worked as a clinician, educator, researcher and consultant to individuals, families, medical professionals, and health care organizations.
Dr. Gionta has a BA in Business from New York University, an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Rhode Island and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Rhode Island. Her uncommon educational foundation in both business and psychology, combined with a strong systems theory perspective, provides her with distinctive assessment and intervention skills that she relies on to help individuals as well as organizations.
Dr. Gionta is an Adjunct Professor at Fairfield University & the University of New Haven, and is a contributing author to Health Forum Online (www.healthforumonline.com
